Consisting of 15 hours of instruction, our estimating course is comprised of a total of 2 sessions,  7.5 hours each

  • Principles of Orthographic Projection.
  • Types of Construction Prints for various Building Trades.
  • Using Floor Plans and Elevations.
  • Using Elevation View Drawings.
  • Identifying Roof Types and Materials.
  • Understanding all parts of Typical Light Wood Frame Construction (Residential and Light Commercial).
  • Using Sectional and Details, Stairs Assembly.
  • Using Window, Door and Finish Schedules.
  • Doing Basic Math Calculations.
  • Using Construction Planning Forms.
  • Using Site Plans and Landscape Plans.
  • Understanding Electrical Receptacle Placement,
  • Using Building Codes.
  • Using Electrical, HVAC, & Plumbing Plans.
